We're creating a trichotillomania management program for teenagers.
Teens with trich & clinicians with experience working with teens, we're looking for your feedback!
What matters to teens?
Teenagers deserve trichotillomania resources made just for them.
We want to make sure they're being served relevant information about trichotillomania, in a format that they are happy to engage with. We've got a program for adults, we want to hear how we should change it for teens.
Can you help?

Teenagers
We're looking for teenagers (age 12-19) with hair pulling, living in the United States. Participating gives you access to the current version of our self-help program. We would like participating teens to spend 2 weeks engaging with the program, and then complete a survey to give us information on how we can modify and improve the program.
Note: The current adult course is built to be used with our wearable awareness-building bracelet. We’re developing the teen course as a standalone. Participants do not need a Keen2.

Clinicians
We're looking for clinicians who are experts in treating hair pulling in teens, who are willing to test an early version of a self-help program built for adults, to give us feedback on how to modify it for teens with hair pulling. We’ll ask you to go through the program (roughly 1 lesson every 2 days for 2 weeks) and then give us feedback on how we can improve, in a ~10 minute survey.
The first step is booking time with a team member for a 1:1 conversation.
This conversation will take place over Zoom, is not recorded, and should take around 20 minutes of your day. Please make sure that you have a quiet space with Wi-Fi and a phone, tablet, or computer capable of video calls at the time of the call.
If you're a teenager interested in participating, please attend the meeting with you and a parent!
Questions?
Do I need to have a Keen2?
You do not need to have a Keen2, but please note that the adult course you'll be going through is built to be used with our wearable awareness-building bracelet. We’re developing the teen course as a standalone.
Will I be compensated?
We cannot offer compensation at this time. However participants will have access to our Trichotillomania management program for adults which is a value of $199.
What can I expect from the current adult course?
Our online course is 6 chapters long with multiple sections in each chapter.
There are small workbooks for each section that you can print out or complete on your device.
You can see the live product here.
I'm not sure if I qualify, what do I do?
Feel free to book time in the group you believe you qualify for. If it's not a fit, we'll let you know!
