Improving Keen2's Accuracy
Adding Another Gesture
Transcript: We recommend starting with one gesture on your Keen2. Live with it for a couple of days and adjust as needed.
If you want to add a second gesture a few days later , go to your first gesture under band settings and turn the “Behavior Enabled” toggle off- do this before you train the second gesture, so that you can guarantee any vibrations are coming from this new gesture.
Keep that toggle off for a couple of days while you get adjusted with your new, second gesture. When you're happy with the second one’s settings, turn back on the Behavior Enabled toggle for the first gesture. Or if you want to add a third gesture, turn both the first and second gestures off and repeat the process using just the third gesture for a few days. Same with adding a fourth.
Keen2 Vibrates When I Text/Type/Drive
Transcript: If Keen2 is vibrating while texting, typing, driving, or reaching up and away, start in band settings and tap that gesture settings and then change the Wrist Zone Range to Narrow. You can also set Thinking Time to Slow - this will make Keen2’s detections more accurate.
Keen2 Vibrates When I Eat/Drink/Talk On The Phone
Transcript: If Keen2 is vibrating while eating, drinking, or talking on the phone, go to band settings, go into that gesture settings, and change the Wrist Motion Match to Narrow. You can also set Thinking Time to Slow - this will make Keen2’s detections more accurate.
It Vibrates When I Rest My Hand On My Face
Transcript: If Keen2 is vibrating while your hand is resting on your face, that's good- it's supposed to! Having your hand on your face leads to pulling, picking, and nail biting. Try to find a different comfortable resting position.
Keen2 Isn’t Vibrating Enough
Transcript: When setting up a gesture, Keen2 suggests turning on the hand-raise filter to reduce extra vibrations from reaching up, like when you’re reaching for a cupboard. If Keen2 isn’t detecting your behavior enough, and you’re not getting enough vibrations, go to that behavior and turn off the raise detection toggle.
Adjusting Custom Gestures
Transcript: If your Custom Gesture is vibrating when texting, typing, driving, or reaching up and away, go to band settings into the custom gesture settings and change the Zone Range to Narrow.
Alternatively, if Keen2 vibrates while you're eating, drinking, or talking on the phone, lower the Motion Sensitivity from the default 8 to a seven.
After that change, test to make sure that it still accurately vibrates for your scanning behavior. If it does, move on to test for the false alarm. Is the false alarm still there? If it is, continue to reduce the motion sensitivity by one, testing for both the behavior and the false alarm each time. If it continues to detect the incorrect motion, delete the gesture and retrain.
Nicknaming On Keen2
Transcript: There are two places where you can add a nickname in Keen2. The first is nicknaming a band, right at the top of Band Settings. If you have two Keen2s, make sure you’re nicknaming the right one by sending a test vibration first!
You can also add a nickname to whichever gesture you'd like. Just tap into that Danger Zone and edit the nickname. Maybe you trained this one at your desk, so you want to nickname it desk. These nicknames will then appear in the menu.
Switching Between Bands
Transcript: All of your charged bands will show up on this top bar you can click to switch between them. If you're not sure which is which you can scroll down and press the send test vibration button and whichever bracelet is currently selected will vibrate.
Deleting A Gesture
Transcript: If you filled all of your behavior slots, you can delete an old Gesture to make room for a new one. Just tap into the behavior you want to delete, scroll all the way down, and press "Delete”
