In this E-Book, I share my journey learning
"How To Be HabitAware,"
our proprietary 3-step methodology for
Retraining You Brain and Regaining Your LIFE!

Do you feel like you can't be yourself because of your hair pulling, skin picking or nail biting?

Do you find yourself hiding, or not doing things you love because you don't want to be seen?

I know the pain of it all too well. I spent half my life (20 years!) living in shame, defeat and isolation.

I'm Aneela Idnani, co-founder of HabitAware and have trichotillomania. I hid my hair pulling secret since it started as a teenager. A few years ago, after a bad late night pulling session, my husband noticed my eyebrows were completely missing. That morning, he asked, "Aneela, where are your eyebrows?" I shared my secret and he shared his loving support.

With two friends, we invented the Keen and Keen2 smart bracelets to build awareness of these debilitating behaviors of hair pulling (trichotillomania), skin picking (dermatillomania) and nail biting (onychophagia).

These Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) are really common self-soothing strategies that can become unmanageable and harmful to our physical and mental health. In using our award-winning Keen smart bracelet, I built awareness of my unwanted hair pulling and learned to choose new, healthier responses to soothe my hair pulling triggers. AND YOU CAN TOO!

HabitAware was created out of personal need and now we've worked for THOUSANDS of Keen family members on the road to recovery.
